Nature as raw material

Everything starts with the ingredients. I choose them carefully, I know where they come from, I know what they bring to your skin. No compromises.

What I use

Noble raw materials

My soaps are made from organic vegetable oils, organic butters, plant extracts, and — for four of my recipes — 100% Romanian ingredients I source from local producers.

01

Organic vegetable oils

Mediterranean olive, virgin coconut, shea from Burkina Faso, cold-pressed castor, organic sunflower. Each oil has its function: nourish, lather, moisturise, protect.

02

Local plants and macerates

Calendula, chamomile, lavender, nettle, sage — often hand-picked in Transylvania. I let them macerate in oils for several weeks to extract their active compounds.

03

Raw honey and beeswax

Sourced from a pollution-free area in the Transylvanian mountains, my honey is unfiltered and my beeswax is raw. This preserves the enzymes, pollen and natural healing properties.

04

Pure essential oils

Lavender, citrus, eucalyptus, peppermint, rosemary. All 100% pure, 100% natural, selected for their aromatherapy quality.

05

Clays and plant powders

Green clay for combination skin, pink clay for sensitive skin, activated charcoal for blemished skin, coffee powder for gentle exfoliation.

06

Natural preservatives

Vitamin E, rosemary extract. No parabens, no phenoxyethanol, no synthetic preservatives.

What I never use

My red list

To stay true to my promise of gentleness, certain ingredients are excluded from my workshop. Permanently.

  • Palm oil — deforestation and ecological impact
  • Sulfates (SLS, SLES) — harsh on skin and scalp
  • Parabens and phenoxyethanol — potential endocrine disruptors
  • Synthetic fragrances — frequent source of allergies
  • Silicones and PEGs — coat the skin without nourishing it
  • Chemical dyes — when nature offers so many colours
An honest note

The shorter shelf life

My soaps have a shorter shelf life than industrial soap. That's normal: without synthetic preservatives, living ingredients evolve. Tip: use your soaps within 12 months of receiving them, and store them dry on a draining soap dish. You'll get the most out of them.
